Welcome to the first monthly Augmentas newsletter. We are just a couple of months into 2019 and there is already so much to talk about. Whether celebrating success and the power of our network at our recent Alumni event, or getting new services off the ground, we are pleased to always have something exciting going on at Augmentas. Find out what we have been up to and how you can get involved…  

The 2nd Quarterly Augmentas Alumni event

We recently hosted our second Augmentas Alumni event at the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall, London. Our quarterly events allow our associates to network with like-minded specialists, giving them a space to share and learn. It is also a fantastic opportunity to reward hard work and success.

We had a great turnout at this fantastic venue, with old friends and new, helping us continue to build a network we are very proud of. Events such as these help us maintain our edge as a respectfully disruptive force in both consultancy delivery and the interim-agency market. We thrive on Associates who support our value-based approach to service delivery so it was hugely encouraging to see so many fully engaged attendees.

Augmentas news

A new service… Our Alumni events have also provided a perfect opportunity to announce new services. Our first event last year saw the introduction of our now well established Augmentas PMO Service, so it only seemed right to follow it up with another big one. Our new service sees us heading into the murky world of DevOps, a natural step for us considering the range of skills already available from Augmentas. Quite simply, with our background in Commercial, Procurement, Project Delivery and PMO, the addition of Technical Expertise really does complete the circle.

A new system… Augmentas is currently implementing a brand-new automated process for invoicing, timesheets and expenses. This will cover the entire business, from customers to service providers and we are looking to deploy over the next 6-8 weeks. Please bear with us, there will no doubt be some bumps on the road, but we are confident that it will lead to a much-needed improvement for all concerned.

Augmentas charity

The coming year2019 is off to a good start, meeting new people, customers and offering new services! Against that backdrop of working with good people, we are delighted to announce that our June Alumni event will see the launch of our alignment with Cancer Research UK, a charity very close to our heart.

We will be holding an auction with some fantastic prizes and opportunities, so we look forward to seeing you all there. All proceeds donated throughout the year, will be matched by Augmentas and given to the charity on the next World Cancer Day, 4th February 2020. Watch this space.
